Occasion & Co. is built to help you plan gatherings with the people you care about. We take your privacy seriously and design every feature with respect for your data and your guests' data.
What we collect
- Account information: Your name and email address when you register.
- Gathering details: The names, dates, locations, menus, and notes you create for your occasions.
- Guest information: Names, dietary preferences, and RSVP responses that you enter for your guests.
- Usage data: Basic analytics about how you use the app to help us improve.
How we use your information
- To provide and maintain your gatherings, guest lists, and planning tools.
- To send you prep reminders and RSVP notifications about your gatherings.
- To send invitation and RSVP emails to your guests when you choose to.
- To improve our features and fix issues.
Your responsibilities as a host
When you add guests to your gathering, you are entering their information. You are responsible for having permission to contact your guests and for using their information appropriately. Occasion & Co. is a tool to help you host — you remain responsible for your guest relationships.
RSVP links
When you share an RSVP link with a guest, that link is specific to that guest and that gathering. RSVP links do not reveal your full guest list or other guests' information. Each guest only sees the gathering name, date, and their own RSVP form.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing. We use service providers (such as email delivery and hosting) that help us operate the app, and they are bound by their own privacy obligations.
Payments
Occasion & Co. is a one-time purchase for lifetime access — there is no recurring subscription. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. We receive confirmation that your payment succeeded, along with a Stripe customer reference, which we use to mark your account as paid.
Data retention and deletion
Your gatherings and related data remain in your account until you delete them. You can delete individual gatherings from the Archive, or delete your entire account from Settings. When you delete your account, all your gatherings, guests, menus, and related records are permanently removed.
